Hoss Rogers

Silversmith and jeweler, Hoss Rogers grew up in the American Southwest and attributes his earliest artistic influences to Native American and Mexican folk art of the 1930s and ‘40s. He also draws inspiration from found objects and skateboard, hot rod, and pop culture. Upon graduation from ASU, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Metals, Hoss spent the next decade living and working in Taos, New Mexico. It was here, influenced by the local artistic milieu, that he cultivated the signature stamping techniques inherent to his work. The resulting mix culminates in his his distinctive style, often termed Southwestern Pop, which has captured the attention of celebrities, skaters, and artists alike.

When asked to speak to the diversity of his one-of-a-kind, hand-fabricated pieces, ranging from sculptural, wearable art to his more popular customizable cuffs, Hoss states:

Each custom piece is created specifically for the collector—giving them a voice and allowing them make their own personal statement. The work itself is functional, sturdy, and uniquely timeless. These weighty, often irreverent pieces, are juxtaposed with intricate detailing to create a distinctive artistic expression.
